Happy Spring!

To continue what Bev has said about the Written Word, I am reminded of a passage I once read in a comparative religion class: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God…In him was life; and the life was the light of men…”

Now as I ponder what this could possibly mean, I come to an understanding that maybe it’s with our WORDS that we create. Words, words, words – we use hundreds of them every day trying to communicate ideas and concepts to others – usually misunderstood because the other person always hears our words from their own personal experiences.

Our new book, written by Debra Schildhouse, called “Bio-Touch: Healing With The Power In Our Fingertips,” contains many words, used to stir desire in humanity’s consciousness to want to practice Bio-Touch. The words are a way to open the possibility that we really can reclaim our birthright to be healthy, happy, and loved.

But the book is still words, words, words. If I wanted to practice what Henry Thoreau once wrote, “simplify, simplify, simplify,” I might just take those words and put them into application.

Bio-Touch is simply taking the first two fingers of each hand and lightly touching another human. Healing just happens. There are no words needed, no intentions, and no projecting what we think should happen. It really is just an application of Love in action.

When I can see another person in their body, I no longer need words. I just know that I have met a kindred soul; someone who, like me, is just trying to do the best they can with what we have been given.

A great Prophet, when asked what was the greatest commandment, once said, “The 1st commandment is to love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul and with all thy mind; and the 2nd commandment was like unto it: Love thy Neighbor as Thyself.”

So maybe, just maybe, God-Self-Neighbor are all the same. Maybe the Word made manifest is our ability to see the equality of all humanity; the ability to see ourselves in each other.

With Bio-Touch, everyone gets the opportunity to experience that equality. If I just apply the simple sets of points, and don’t try to figure it out, I come to a self-awareness that we are all equal and that we all just want to be healthy and happy and loved.
